According to a literal reading of Genesis, it must have occurred around 2300-2500 B.C. Of course, ancient Egyptian civilization began well before that, and there's no evidence of it having been wiped out and then rebuilt. Some creationists have tried various tricks to make all of Egyptian civilization fit after the flood (different kings reigning in different places at the same time, for example), but this doesn't seem believable. And that argument wouldn't work for other ancient civilizations anyway(China, India).<br /><br />Also, if the human race in all its diversity descended from 7 people less than 4500 years ago, there must have been some really impressive..ahem..evolution.atuylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13163055072326267393noreply@blogger.com
